Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Ruwana Studio (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Operator and Contact

Ruwana Studio (“Ruwana”, “we”, “us”) operates the Service.

2. Eligibility (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Some outputs may include lingerie or sensual (non-explicit) styling. By creating an account, confirming the 18+ prompt, or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Access

The Service may offer subscription plans that unlock features and usage levels. Plan details, limits, and prices are described on the Pricing page and may change from time to time: Pricing Plans.

If subscriptions are processed through a third-party payment provider, your purchase may also be subject to that provider’s terms and policies.

5. Credits

Ruwana uses credits to pay for costly actions (for example: image uploads, exports, and successful video renders). Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable except where required by law.

5.1 Credit types

  • Top-up Credits (credit packs): one-time credits purchased separately.
  • Plan Credits (subscription credits): monthly credits included with an active paid subscription plan.

5.2 Expiration

  • Top-up Credits expire 6 months after the purchase date (each pack has its own expiry date).
  • Plan Credits roll over while your subscription remains active and paid.
  • If your subscription becomes inactive (for example: cancellation, non-payment, or expiration), any remaining Plan Credits expire at the end of your current paid billing period.

5.3 When credits are consumed

  • Credits are consumed on costly actions such as image uploads and exports.
  • Video credits are charged only on successful completion (i.e., when the final video is delivered).

5.4 Changes to credit rules

We may update credit rules to reflect product changes, pricing, abuse prevention, or operational requirements. Changes will be posted on this page and will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.

6. Licenses and Usage Rights

The Service may offer licensing documents and usage rights terms for specific outputs, models, or commercial use. Unless explicitly stated in writing (including inside a license document you obtain through the Service), you do not acquire ownership of any Ruwana trademarks, brand assets, or proprietary virtual model identity assets.

6.1 Proprietary virtual models (exclusive representation)

Ruwana Studio virtual models (including their names, likeness, identity, persona, styling signature, and associated portfolio) are proprietary assets owned and controlled by Ruwana Studio and are represented exclusively by Ruwana Studio. No ownership, assignment, or transfer of any virtual model identity is granted to you.

6.2 Rights to use Outputs (license scope)

Subject to these Terms and any license document issued through the Service, Ruwana grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Outputs you generate through the Service.

If your intended use requires a commercial license (for example, advertising, paid social, e-commerce, campaigns, or other business publishing), your use must comply with the active license for the specific model used. 6.3 Restrictions (no resale, no sublicensing, no “model as a product”)

You may not, and may not allow any third party to:

  • Claim a Ruwana virtual model as your own, or as talent you exclusively represent.
  • Sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or redistribute any Ruwana virtual model identity or access to it (including as a “model pack”, dataset, preset, marketplace listing, API access, or similar).
  • Use Outputs or the model identity to create a reusable resource intended to replicate, extract, or rebuild the model’s identity.
  • Register, attempt to register, or assert rights (including trademarks, handles, domains, or social usernames) that imply ownership of the model identity or official representation.

6.4 No deception / no real-person claims

You may not use the Service or Outputs in a deceptive or misleading way, including impersonation, misinformation, or claims that a virtual model is a real individual, or that a real person endorses your product or brand.

6.5 Future media types (audio/voice)

If the Service later introduces additional output formats (for example, audio/voice), your use of those outputs remains subject to these Terms, the applicable license (if any), and any additional rules published by Ruwana for that feature.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Using the Service for unlawful activities or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, probe, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Abusing the system, including attempts to bypass limits, credits, access controls, or plan gating.
  • Submitting content that infringes intellectual property or violates the rights of others.
  • Uploading or using references you do not have rights to use (including third-party photography, logos, designs, or copyrighted assets).
  • Creating accounts/pages that portray a Ruwana virtual model as a real person or as independently represented influencer/talent, or otherwise implying ownership/exclusive representation.
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing any Ruwana virtual model identity or access to it (including “model packs”, datasets, presets, marketplaces, or API access).

8. Your Content and Outputs

You may submit prompts, references, or other materials (“Input”). The Service may generate results (“Outputs”). You are responsible for your Input and for how you use Outputs, including ensuring that your usage is lawful and appropriate for your context.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its UI, design, trademarks, brand elements, and underlying technology, is owned by Ruwana or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Outputs will meet your expectations. Outputs may vary, and the Service may occasionally produce unexpected results.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ruwana will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ruwana from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your Input, your Outputs, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Courts located in Romania will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
