AI Content & Usage Policy

1. Purpose
This AI Content & Usage Policy explains what is allowed and not allowed when using Ruwana Studio to create images with virtual models. This Policy is part of our Terms of Use.
By using the Service, you agree to follow these rules.
2. Virtual models are not real people
All models in Ruwana Studio are virtual characters created with AI. They do not represent real individuals.
You may not:
- claim that a virtual model is a real person,
- use a virtual model to impersonate a real person,
- mislead audiences into believing the image is a real photoshoot with a real human model where this would be deceptive under applicable laws or platform rules.
We encourage you to be transparent when using AI-generated imagery.
3. Prohibited content
You may not use Ruwana Studio to create, upload, or distribute:
- nudity or sexually explicit content,
- pornographic or fetish content,
- hateful, harassing, or discriminatory content,
- violent or graphic content,
- political or election-related propaganda or persuasion campaigns,
- deepfakes or misleading impersonations of real people,
- content that violates copyright, trademarks, privacy, or publicity rights,
- any content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to block or remove any content that violates this Policy and to suspend or terminate offending accounts.
4. Use of product photos
You are responsible for ensuring that your uploaded product photos:
- do not include real people’s faces, unless you have explicit informed consent and it does not violate this Policy,
- do not contain copyrighted artwork, logos, or designs that you are not authorised to use,
- do not contain sensitive or confidential information.
We may automatically reject or remove content that appears to include real faces or sensitive elements if such features are detected by our systems or reviewed manually.
5. Use of generated images
Subject to the Terms of Use and your plan or license:
You may use generated images for:
- online shops, lookbooks, and catalogues,
- social media posts and ads,
- newsletters, presentations, and pitch decks,
- moodboards and design explorations.
You may not:
- resell or redistribute generated images as stock images, templates, or as part of a competing product,
- use the images to build, train, or fine-tune another AI model,
- falsely claim that the images were shot with real human models,
- remove, alter, or obscure any Ruwana Studio marks indicating AI/virtual model usage, where such marks are present.
6. Model identities and uniqueness
Ruwana Studio provides named virtual models (e.g. “Nayla-V1”, “Aliona-V1”). These identities are controlled and managed by us.
You do not acquire ownership of the model identity itself. Your rights are limited to the specific images generated for you under your plan or license.
We may:
- update or improve model identities over time,
- limit access to certain models or tiers,
- create unique or semi-exclusive identities for specific clients under separate agreements.
7. Abuse, reporting and enforcement
If you see content generated with Ruwana Studio that you believe violates this Policy, contact us at:

- remove or restrict access to offending content,
- suspend or terminate accounts,
- cooperate with platforms or authorities if required by law.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this AI Content & Usage Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with an updated date.
